Mission
To provide a safe space for youth to explore, grow, examine, and even question their faith through practical biblical and theological discussion about what that faith looks like in real life.
Meeting Schedule:
- Sunday Mornings: Donuts and the Bible (Youth Sunday School) at 9:45 a.m. year-round.
- Sunday Evenings: SWAT gatherings at 6:00 p.m. during the school year.
- Special Events: Annual calendar includes three fundraisers, SWAT Sunday in the spring, a weeklong summer trip, and a winter weekend retreat.
Youth in grades 6–12 are welcome to attend any event or meeting. Simply come and check it out. Calendars are provided throughout the year for planning and event details. Some events may include a small cost that varies by activity.

Goals
- Offer thought-provoking curriculum that encourages deep discussion led by both adults and peers.
- Create a safe and welcoming space for peer fellowship through fun games, events, and mission opportunities.
Confirmation
The Confirmation program helps students deepen their understanding of scripture, theology, and Methodist beliefs while exploring what it means to live as a disciple of Christ. Students engage in lessons, worship, service, and mentorship, preparing to make their own public commitment of faith.
Get Involved
The Youth and Young Adult Ministries team uses the Band app for scheduling and communication. Participation typically involves attending one meeting each month and supporting several youth events during the year.
Adults interested in volunteering with youth ministry must complete Safe Sanctuaries training and a background check. This requirement ensures a safe environment for all youth participants.
There is no cost to participate other than occasional event-related expenses such as retreats or mission trips.
