Walk To Emmaus

About Walk to Emmaus

The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal experience based on the story in Luke 24:32 — “They asked each other, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the scriptures to us?’” This program is designed to inspire, challenge, and equip people for Christian action in their homes, workplaces, and communities.

Participants experience a weekend of singing, prayer, worship, reflection, small group discussions, and Holy Communion. Each part of the weekend encourages a deeper understanding of God’s grace and love, as well as opportunities to experience Christian community in action.

After an Emmaus Weekend

Following the weekend, participants are invited to continue growing in faith through worship, study, and active participation in their local church. Many choose to join small accountability groups that meet weekly for prayer, encouragement, and discipleship.

Faith and Discipleship

To nurture Christian discipleship, Emmaus offers:

  • Small groups of 4–6 who meet weekly to reflect on their spiritual journey and encourage one another
  • Quarterly community gatherings for fellowship and worship
  • Ongoing communication about upcoming events and service opportunities
  • Support for future Walks to Emmaus and leadership development

Emmaus empowers leaders to be the hands and feet of Christ, living out their faith with love and purpose.

Are You Seeking…

  • Spiritual renewal?
  • A deeper understanding of God’s grace and love?
  • Worship and fellowship with other believers?
  • A way to strengthen your spiritual life and explore your faith more fully?

If you answered yes, the Walk to Emmaus may be your next step in faith.
