About the Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry is a vital part of Epworth’s Radical Hospitality branch, dedicated to lifting the needs of others through prayer. We believe prayer is one of the most meaningful ways we can care for one another and strengthen our faith community. Through the Prayer Chain, members receive requests submitted by phone, email, or prayer cards during worship and join together in praying for those in need.
There are no formal meetings at this time, but future opportunities for training and spiritual enrichment may be offered. Whether at home, work, or on the go, Prayer Ministry members take time to pray as they are able, joining hearts across the congregation in compassion and faith.
Faith and Purpose
Prayer is an act of love and service that draws us closer to God and to one another. We believe that with prayer all things are possible and that every request lifted up brings peace, hope, and connection within the life of the church.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
James 5:16
