What We Do
Stephen Ministry pairs trained lay caregivers with individuals who need someone to walk alongside them in a season of difficulty. Ministers listen, pray, and provide nonjudgmental support while maintaining strict confidentiality. The ministry is designed to ensure that no one has to walk through life’s valleys alone.
Stephen Ministers meet weekly with their care receivers and gather monthly with the Stephen Ministry group for encouragement, supervision, and continued learning. Each minister completes fifty hours of training and commits to serve for at least three years.
