Capital Campaign: Opening Our Doors to Tomorrow
Our Capital Campaign is well underway, and we are excited to share what this means for Epworth. In 2024, we began collecting pledges from our church family. Those pledges will begin being fulfilled in 2025, marking the start of our three-year campaign with a goal of two million dollars.
The goal of this campaign is to pay off Epworth’s mortgage so that we can fully focus on ministry, outreach, and spiritual growth. By becoming debt free, we can direct more of our resources toward programs and missions that make a lasting difference in our congregation and community.
This effort is about more than numbers. It is about faith, commitment, and working together toward a shared vision. Every pledge, prayer, and act of support helps us move closer to a future built on generosity, gratitude, and hope.
Together, we are Opening Our Doors to Tomorrow and building a strong foundation for all that God has planned for Epworth.

July 2024
We have received pledges totaling over 1.9 million dollars, bringing us very close to our goal of 2.0 million dollars.
August 2024
At the end of July, we paid down $200,000 on our mortgage. New balance remaining equals $898,910
December 2024
Remanning mortgage balance equaled $678,996 on December 31
June 2025
Remaining balance equaled $464,666 as of June 30
December 2025
Remaining balance equaled $250,000 as of December 31

It is our expectation that our mortgage will be fully paid off by the end of the year or before allowing us to allocate the remaining campaign receipts to ministries & facility improvements.
These milestones are worth celebrating. They represent the generosity, faith and unity of our congregation as we work together to prepare Epworth for the future.
