Each year on the first Saturday in November, Epworth United Methodist Church fills with the sights, sounds, and spirit of the season during the Annual Arts & Crafts Bazaar. This long-standing tradition is one of Epworth’s most anticipated events, drawing visitors from across the community for a full day of fellowship and festive holiday shopping. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a silent auction held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and features more than 67 regional vendors offering an incredible selection of handmade goods.
Guests can browse tables filled with art, cards, jewelry, books, holiday décor, soaps and lotions, pottery, purses, knitted and sewn goods, clothing, accessories, baked treats, and much more. It is the perfect opportunity to find unique gifts for family and friends while supporting talented local artisans. As the holidays approach, the bazaar serves as a reminder to shop small and support local businesses that pour heart and craftsmanship into their work.
The Arts & Crafts Bazaar is the largest annual fundraiser at Epworth, with all proceeds benefiting local missions and charitable programs. Funds raised throughout the day help provide essential resources such as food, shelter, and clothing to families in need, extending the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church. Every purchase and auction bid directly supports these efforts, making each transaction a meaningful act of generosity.

The silent auction is a favorite feature of the day, offering guests the chance to bid on a wide variety of items donated by vendors, local businesses, and community members. From gift baskets and handmade art to specialty experiences, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Participants do not need to be present to win, allowing everyone to take part in this fun and impactful tradition.
Throughout the day, Epworth is filled with warmth, laughter, and connection. Volunteers help guide guests, serve refreshments, and ensure the event runs smoothly. The festive atmosphere invites visitors to linger, chat with artisans, and enjoy the company of friends and neighbors. For many families, attending the bazaar has become an annual tradition—a way to welcome the holiday season and give back to the community at the same time.
The Arts & Crafts Bazaar offers free parking and admission, making it easy for everyone to attend. Whether guests come to shop, bid, or simply enjoy the festive atmosphere, they leave with joyful hearts and holiday spirit. This event captures what Epworth is all about: faith in action, community connection, and generosity that lasts far beyond a single day.
Join us and experience a day of creativity, fellowship, and meaningful holiday shopping. Support local artists, find special gifts for loved ones, and help make a difference in the lives of others this holiday season.
2026 Epworth Arts and Craft Bazaar
Dear Vendor:
The Epworth Bazaar invites you to support good causes by applying to participate in our annual Arts and Crafts Bazaar on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. Our Bazaar has raised $285,641 over the years for local missions and charities—we donate 100% of our proceeds to these projects. These charities are listed on our website at Epworth.com/bazaar.
Epworth’s Arts & Crafts Bazaar’s reputation for offering unique, high-quality, hand-crafted items by local and regional artisans has historically drawn large crowds of approximately 1000 shoppers.
We require a photo of items/booth for all new applicants. The vendor must handcraft all items to be sold! If too many applications are received for a particular craft, our committee will decide how many vendors would be in the best interest of the show. This is why we need to know exactly what will be displayed at your booth. Please know that if you display an article that is not listed on your application or is not handcrafted, you may be asked to remove the item(s) from your table. Applications always exceed available space, so applicants will receive confirmation by mid-July 2026. There will be no refunds given for cancellations after September 15, 2026.
Our vendor area encompasses both the downstairs gym and the upstairs lobby. A booth space is eight-feet wide by approximately five-feet deep and includes two chairs (an 8ft. table must fit in this space). Vendors are limited to one booth. The cost per space is $70.00; 8ft. tables are available for an additional $5, and access to electricity is an additional $5. Vendors are required to provide table coverings; no tape to affix signs on walls and no type of cooking is allowed. We also request a silent auction item be donated by each vendor to benefit our local missions. Please provide your donation on Friday evening to facilitate silent auction set-up. Vendors must get a bid number to bid on silent auction items. Bidding closes at 3 p.m. the day of the Bazaar.
We will continue to offer a $10 vendor lunch for purchase. If you bring your own food, please note that there will be no microwave or refrigeration available for your use.
Vendor set up is Friday, November 6 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The church will be locked after 7:00 p.m. and will re-open again at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. We encourage you to have your booth ready by 8:45 a.m. As in years’ past, you will receive a complimentary cup of coffee or bottle of water.
Applications and payment should be mailed to: Epworth UMC, 4855 W. Central Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43615 (Attn: Arts & Crafts Bazaar) by June 15. Please contact me if you have any questions or need additional information.
Sincerely,
