Meet Jessica
Epworth is excited to welcome Jessica Brant as our Director of Early Learning. With more than thirteen years of experience in early childhood education, Jessica brings both heart and expertise to our program. Her career has been built around helping children explore, imagine, and grow through play and meaningful relationships. She believes that when children feel safe, supported, and valued, they are free to discover who they are and what they can do.
Jessica earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) and School Age credentials through the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association and an Associate’s Degree in Prekindergarten Education from Miami University. She is currently finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education through the University of Cincinnati, continuing her commitment to professional growth and high-quality care. Her studies in child psychology and sociology help her understand how children think, learn, and interact with the world around them. Jessica believes that early education is about much more than academics. It is about building confidence, curiosity, empathy, and a lifelong love of learning. She is deeply passionate about ensuring that all children have access to quality education and that every family feels seen and supported.
Before joining Epworth in January 2024, Jessica worked in both teaching and administrative roles for more than a decade in other Christian Early Childhood Centers. She has led programs that achieved 4-star and 5-star Step Up to Quality ratings and has guided teachers and families through collaborative, play-based learning experiences that prepare children for future success. Jessica is excited to partner with the Epworth community to strengthen the connection between the church and the Early Learning Center. Her goal is to continue building a program where children flourish, families feel connected, and faith and learning grow side by side.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys life’s beautiful chaos with her wife Natalie, their four dogs, a tank full of fish, one frog, and far too many plants. And if you ever think you are seeing double at an event, you might be right. Jessica’s twin sister Caitlyn often helps out and keeps everyone smiling. Jessica looks forward to meeting each of you and working together to create a place where children feel loved, families feel welcome, and the joy of learning shines through every day.
