Epworth’s Annual Arts & Crafts Bazaar

History
The Bazaar began as a fundraiser of the United Methodist Women.
In recent years, the Bazaar has
grown beyond just that loyal group of women to include male and female volunteers. The UMW organization no
longer exists as a membership group for women of the church and the designation of “a fund-raiser of
Epworth’s United Methodist Women” has broadened to a fundraiser of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Impact
Over $225,000 has been raised by the Bazaar over the past 15 years. Each year a dedicated group of
women (past members of UMW and current volunteers) meet to determine the distribution of funds raised by
the Bazaar. $20,000 was distributed last year to the following area non-profit organizations whose missions
include support for women and children or address other community needs
This year there will be Over 65 regional vendors selling handmade items including:
art, cards, jewelry, books, holiday decor, candles, quilts, mittens, purses, knitted & sew items, clothing & accessories, baked goods & coffee bar and much more!!
