What is Stewardship
Stewardship is the prayerful practice of managing all that God has entrusted to us including our time, talents, treasures, and relationships with faithfulness and gratitude. It is rooted in the belief that everything we have belongs to God and that we are called to use it for God’s glory and the good of others.
True stewardship is not only about financial giving. It is about living generously and intentionally, responding to God’s grace with thankfulness and action. Through stewardship we deepen our faith, strengthen our church, and serve our neighbors as disciples of Christ.
Stewardship at Epworth
At Epworth, stewardship is both a spiritual journey and a shared ministry. Our giving and service reflect our gratitude for God’s blessings and our desire to extend those blessings into our community and the world.
Each year we dedicate a season to reflection, prayer, and commitment, a time to consider how God is calling us to use what we have been given. Whether through financial gifts, volunteer service, or acts of compassion, stewardship connects our faith to everyday living and reminds us that our generosity builds God’s kingdom here and now.
Stewardship Campaign 2026
Building Bridges Between Epworth and Our Community
This fall we enter a season of reflection, celebration, and commitment. Our 2026 Stewardship Campaign, Building Bridges Between Epworth and Our Community, invites us to recognize the sacred connections we have nurtured through ministry, mission, and presence. From sanctuary to sidewalk, from Sunday School to service projects, Epworth continues to be a bridge of grace, hope, and love.
Each week we will explore a scriptural theme that reminds us how stewardship is not just about giving. It is about growing, loving, and living generously.
Purpose
This campaign is not only about sustaining our church. It is about expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and celebrating the blessings that Epworth has been to so many.
As you prayerfully consider your pledge, may you feel the joy of being part of something greater, a bridge built by love, upheld by faith, and traveled by grace.
