YOU are formally invited! To our official Groundbreaking Ceremony/Celebration on June 4 at the end of each worship service: 8:30, 9:45 & 11am. Each service will end with us processing outdoors in order to turn soil and offer our gratitude to God for bringing us this important moment, the beginning of construction for our brand new facility specifically designed to reach families with children and youth. Cake & Punch will be served in the Lounge after each groundbreaking ceremony.
June 4th is also a special day on the Church’s seasonal calendar. It is Pentecost. Our remembrance of how the Holy Spirit filled the hearts of the early Apostles empowering them to begin the Church. We are praying that same Spirit will fill Epworth anew as we prepare to open our doors to new persons and families once we dedicate our new facility several months from now. We can’t wait!
