Everyone is invited and welcome to join us as we bring our burdens, hurts and brokenness to the altar (or silently). Share in the power of prayer as the Body of Christ as we pray for each other, our community and for the world. This meditative service includes music, communion, Scripture and anointing with intercessory prayer (if desired). Hear a personal testimony of God’s love and healing mercies from our featured speaker. Have questions? Contact Pastor Beth using the contact form below.

Heather Gillen  “Finding Healing and Wholeness Within the Body of Christ”

Heather Gillen, a registered dietitian and divorced single mother of 2 small children, James (7) and Claudia (4), suffered with anxiety and depression since early childhood.  She found healing through the experience of the love of God expressed through community.  While on her spiritual journey, Heather discerned a call to ministry and is now about to begin her third year as a student at Asbury Theological Seminary.  Join us as she shares her journey out of the darkness into His marvelous light.  Heather became a member of The University church in 2013.
