This spring the Community Outreach Committee at Epworth is conducting a “Non-Food” Drive to collect personal items that are not covered by food stamps or routinely provided at food pantries. These items contribute greatly to a person’s health and well being, and can be hard to afford on a limited budget. On Sundays, April 8 & 15, look for the bin in the lobby to drop off your generous donation to help local Toledoans in need of personal toiletry items. The items will be donated to our local Feed Your Neighbor pantry and other Toledo social service agencies that Epworth supports. Here are the 10 things we will be collecting to help ease the burden of tending to personal hygiene that most of us take for granted.

  • Toothpaste/Dental floss
  • Toothbrushes
  • Shaving Products
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Soap or Body Wash
  • Feminine Products
  • Deodorant
  • Lotion
  • First Aid Supplies

Please feel free to make a monetary donation with “Non-Food Drive” in the memo line on your check. Questions? Contact Susan using the form below.
