Our guest speaker is Genevieve Geha Kirkbride, author of "Carmen." Genevieve is a post-World War II immigrant and participated in USAID projects supporting non-governmental organizations in Lebanon. She also helped develop the first Sister City relationship between Dearborn, MI. and Cana, Lebanon. Her book was inspired by a shoebox full of long forgotten, handwritten notes.
