Monroe Street Neighborhood Center is looking for additional assistance on Monday, February 1st at 9:30 AM, when they retrieve an incredibly large shipment of food (approximately 6,000 lbs) from a local food bank, for their pantry. Volunteers are needed to help transport the food from the parking lot to the pantry area, which does involve a flight of stairs. Volunteers will gather at Monroe Street United Methodist Church, 3613 Monroe St. at 9:30 AM on February 1st, to assist with the unloading and organizing within the pantry. Please contact [email protected] if you have questions or would be able to serve the Monroe St. Neighborhood Center on Feb 1st! “Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours.” – Teresa of Avila
