Kid to Kid Missions

Did you know that skin exposed to temperatures a little below 32°F are at risk for frostbite? Under the extreme conditions, like we often see in our area during the winter months, even warm skin exposed to subzero temperatures and high wind chill factors can freeze rapidly.

Our project this December is to collect items for Epworth’s Magi giving tree dedicated to providing new hats, socks, scarves, mittens, and gloves for children in need. Items donated will be distributing donated items to area partners such as Hawkins Elementary, Leading Families Home, St. Paul's community Center, and YWCA Domestic violence Center. The deadline to put items on the tree is December 22.
