I Love My Church Series
“I give you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, so you also must love each other. This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples, when you love each other.”
These words spoken by Jesus (John 13:34-35) were offered as He and His disciples gathered to share the Passover meal just hours before his arrest and passion. His dying wish for his Church was that his followers would deeply love one another with not only words but with their commitments. Jesus was saying that love was the identifying marker of being part of his Body called the Church. Our deep love for each other is a living example of how Jesus loves all people. Join us for this important series as we invite all Epworth members and friends to become more fully engaged in the life of our local church.

Commitment Sunday, when we will offer fresh commitments around financial stewardship and expand our love for one another by committing to serve the community God gives us.
