The deadline for submitting legislation for General Conference was September 18. We currently have information on some of the proposed plans the General Conference will receive seeking a way for the denomination to bring to a conclusion the on-going debate around the questions of the ordination of gay and lesbian persons as clergy and the ability for gay and lesbian persons to be married within a local church.
