Hi Kiera!  What a sweet question. Thanks for writing and asking me about such an important subject. It made me think of a movie that came out some years ago starring Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise called “All Dogs Go to Heaven.”

The Bible doesn’t specifically say what happens when pets die. However we do read in Proverbs 12:10; “Those who do what is right take good care of their animals.” God made all kinds of animals for the air, sea and land.  It is important for people to treat animals well and to provide a good home for them.

We can’t know for sure if our pets go to Heaven, but God knows.  He is perfect and good. So we can be sure that He has a good plan for us and our pets. I also know that God wants to Bless you. If that means having pets in Heaven it’s a really good possibility they will be there.

In the meantime, we have something for everyone at Epworth United Methodist Church.  You and your family are invited to join us at any of our Worship services in person or through our Broadcasts.

Many blessings to you and those you love.
