Healing Service

A Service for Healing and Wholeness...
(there will not be  a service in June)

For the Healing and Wholeness gathering at 7pm in the Webb Chapel on May 14, 'Women of Grace' provided musical testimony with their voices for this special service.

Healing can come through music in times of suffering, loneliness, and loss.

These talented women sing at various nursing and assisted living residences in the area.  They also volunteer at Hospice of Northwest Ohio under the name of Threshold Choir.

The quiet meditative service gives participants the opportunity to focus on the power of God to heal whatever physical, emotional or spiritual disease or brokenness we are experiencing.

The services also include other music, scripture, communion and individual healing prayers.  B.J. Brengartner, Ann Koffman and Penny McCartney also provide leadership for these services. Pastor Thomas leads the healing prayers and performs the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
Cecil Baughman  provides special musical accompaniment these gatherings.

A free-will offering is usually received for an Epworth supported charity.

Plan to come to the service to pray for others, to have the community pray for your special needs, to pray for hurt and brokenness in the community and for the brokenness in the world.

Are any among you sick? They should call for elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. [James 5:14]

Scripture strongly affirms ministries of spiritual healing, which in recent years have received renewed emphasis throughout Christ’s holy Church.

Spiritual healing is God’s work of offering persons balance, harmony, and wholeness of body, mind, spirit, and relationships through confession, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
