Services for Healing and Wholeness..

 

Our next monthly Healing and Wholeness Service will be held on
Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at 7:00 pm in the Webb Chapel.
 

Margie and Scott Smith         Scott and Margie Smith  will offer their testimony to God’s healing grace that allows them to praise and serve God through the difficult trials of life.
   
       A free-will offering will be received for the RADical Hope benefit for the Smith family..
      
        Rev. Bob Thomas will lead in the healing prayers and preside for the Sacrament of Holy Communion assisted by Beth Irwin, B.J. Brengartner, Carol Williams-Young, Ann Koffman, and Penny McCartney. Cecil Baughman will accompany the service. 



       You may come for prayers and anointing with oil for your own concerns or for concerns of a loved one or friend.

 

The service is open to the entire community. 

Please plan to come to the service to pray for others, to have the community pray for your special needs, to pray for hurt and brokenness in the community and for the brokenness in the world.

“Are any among you sick? They should call for elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. [James 5:14]

 

Scripture strongly affirms ministries of spiritual healing, which in recent years have received renewed emphasis throughout Christ’s holy Church.

 

Spiritual healing is God’s work of offering persons balance, harmony, and wholeness of body, mind, spirit, and relationships through confession, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
