Haiti Health Kits We have a team going to Haiti on November 13-20 and we are in need of some items to fill health kits that we are taking. We would like at least 200 of these kits to go with us. The following items are on our wish list for each kit: Aqua tabs, oral rehydration serum/powder packs, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap holder, toothbrush holder, flossers, shampoo, conditioner, comb, brush, hair pomade, towels, sanitary napkins, washcloths, soap, underwear (children), socks (children), undershirt (children), multivitamins, Q-tips. Together we can make a positive change. We are excited to see how God makes us useful to our brothers and sisters in Haiti. Thank you all for your prayers and support. We will be in the cloister to collect items now and until we leave. You can also drop off items in the church office during the week. Mark “Haiti Health Kits” on them. Haiti Backpacks and School Supplies Gently used backpacks and school supplies are also needed for the children in Haiti. No need to shop - just check closets, basement, kid’s rooms, junk drawers.! Supplies needed are: gently used backpacks or sports bags, partially used/new spiral notebooks, ink pens, used/new pencils, random color pencils/or used box of color pencils, rulers, larger erasers, silly bands (please encourage your children to donate from their collection), bars of soap, bottle of shampoo. Place your donations in the bright yellow boxes labelled “Backpacks 4 Haiti” located in the narthex, at the Central Ave. door, and up in The Kingdom hallway by November 7. Our goal is to take 300 backpacks and supplies to the school children in Les Cayes. |
