Fair Trade Coffee Sold on the First Sunday of Each Month

Church & Society will be selling 12 oz. packages of coffee (regular and decaf Columbian) to raise funds for local missions.  The coffee is being provided by the Equal Exchange Interfaith Program, a partnership of several faith-based organizations, including UMCOR, that provides a fair wage to coffee farmers around the world.  By paying a fair price, working with democratic cooperatives, offering affordable credit and supporting sustainable agriculture, Equal Exchange helps farmers to build better lives for themselves and their families.  For $8 per bag, you will be helping farmers around the world and $2.50 of each bag will go to our “daughter” church, The University Church.  Look for us in the cloister.  If you would like to pre-order, contact Gus Grinstead at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
