You’ll love being a part of the Epworth Sunday worship experience. Making guests feel welcome helps us live into our vision of embracing people exactly where they are, and usually doesn’t require more than arriving a few minutes earlier than normal. No prior experience needed, and hands-on training is provided.
Greet and seat people, distribute bulletins, and pass offering plates in worship. Friendly and outgoing personalities are a great fit for this ministry.
Assist monthly (9:45 & 11) or weekly (8:30) by serving communion elements to fellow worshipers. Also help with set up & tear down. Many find this role deeply meaningful.
Help set the tone for a pleasant experience with a welcome and warm hospitality at the sanctuary doors with a “we’re glad you’re here” and “thanks for coming” to members/guests.
Assist in the a/v production of a service to make worship and/or special events flow smoothly and look amazing.
Contribute to the amazing power that music brings to worship services. If you’re into music, we have a spot for you. Kids, Students & Adults are all welcome to participate in our vocal and/or bell choirs. You can also consider auditioning to be a part of our praise band at our contemporary service.
Read the weekly scripture verse in the service of your choice. If you’re great at public speaking, or love the spotlight, consider joining this team.
