Epworth’s December sermon series “Christmas At The Movies” shines a light on Spiritual truths in popular Christmas films and this year, we’re trying some new ways to invite others from the community to join us at one of these upcoming services this Christmas Season. Here are a few ways you can help:

Be a Candy Bag Stuffer

We need your help on Saturday, December 8 from 9am- 12 noon to assemble bags of movie candy (junior mints) and an invitation to our "Christmas At The Movies" sermon series. We'll be stuffing bags with handles so you have the ability to hang them on door handles, and can easily be carried. Please sign up on the connection card or email Doug to let us know you'll be there.

Be The Hands And Feet

Can you help us deliver the invites? We'll have these bags with candy and invitations available for you to pickup in the lobby beginning 12/9. You choose how you want to participate:

  • hand out candy bags in assigned areas/streets
  • hang a few candy bags on doors around your neighborhood
  • give candy bags to friends you know who might be interested
  • put a "Christmas at the Movies" yard sign in your yard (pickup in lobby beginning 12/2)

Make it Personal

In addition to the candy bags and invitations, we're providing you with a mix of post cards, yard signs, and social media tools to get the word out.

While these different tools will help raise awareness of Epworth, the most powerful invite is always the one from a friend so please prayerfully consider extending an invitation to someone in your life who may be seeking for a deeper meaning to the Christmas Season. So, grab a friend, pick up refreshments in our new lobby, and open your heart to the story of Jesus.
