The Duties of the E.C.E.C. Board
The board shall be responsible to the Epworth Administration Council.The board will set all policy, procedures, objectives, goals, and calendar for the school and perform all other necessary actions for the continued operation of the school.The board will approve an annual operating budget prior to the upcoming school year.The board shall approve all fees/tuitions salaries and expenditures in excess of $100.00.The board may call on outside experts for consultation.The board will receive applications select a candidate for preschool Director and recommend a candidate to Staff-Parish for approval.The board will evaluate the Director yearly by predetermined criteria and use this as a basis for re-employment.The board may act individually or in sub-groups to develop recommendations to the full board as requested by the chair.The board shall raise capital funds as needed.
