The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overseeing and management of the church buildings, as well as all the real and personal property of the Church.
The Church exists to spread the good news of God through Jesus Christ and to follow our mission statement. The trustees are involved in an exciting covenant with the entire Church to provide facilities that invite and promote the ministry and mission of the Church.

Board of Trustee Projects for 2007 The trustees have the responsibility of managing and overseeing the assets of Epworth Church. We manage two budgets:
1. Operations Budget – This budget covers all of our day-to-day expenses including natural gas, electric, telephone, cleaning, insurance, computer/organ maintenance, among others. This budget is normally around $200,000 per year. 2. Capital Improvement Budget – This budget covers the expenses in the church that do not fall under the day-to-day operations budget. Past examples of these expenditures include the new projector and microphones used in the sanctuary, upgrading of the server for the computers serving Epworth, and the new projection screen in the Family Life Center. Currently included among the capital improvements your trustees are considering are:
1. Fire-safe Filing Cabinet for Permanent Church Records $3,500
2. New Kitchen Dishwasher: $3,000
3. 5 Kitchen Plate Storage Caddies: $2,550
4. Processional Crosses: $1,000 - $2,000
5. 6 Headsets for Worship: $1,000 - $1,500
6. Blood Pressure Cuffs/RX Boxes for Health Ministries: $300
7. Storage Shelving for Sanctuary: $200
8. Filing Cabinet for Choir Music: $100
9. White Communion Robe: $100
10. Large Ladder for Sanctuary: $100
