Our physical bodies matter to God; we are, after all, made in His image. Epworth offers physical fitness classes to help keep our ‘holy temple’ strong and healthy. Our fitness classes are held in the Gymnasium located on the first floor.

Jazzercise Lo

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9-10am

Jazzercise Lo classes are for active seniors looking for low impact exercise. Jazzercise Lo is an energetic Lo impact class that incorporates dance moves, balance, and strength. Classes will alternate between all standing or partially in a chair (for strength portion). Classes are fun and challenging no matter what your fitness level is. This group is open to Epworth senior members. For pricing and info, please contact Christy Owed at 419.460.1734.

  • What to bring? A water bottle, 2-5lb weights, a small towel for sweat (optional).
  • What to wear? Cool clothing. Any type of loose-fitting workout attire or shorts. We work, it gets warm.
  • Class times? MWF 9-10am in the gym

Body Design

Monday, Wednesday & Friday 11:00am

Body Design combines a variety of standing and floor exercise to provide an overall workout that strengthens, tones and stretches the entire body. Traditional exercise such as squats and leg raises are married with Pilate and Yoga flavors to challenge or maintain your current fitness level.  Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace.  Contact Bunny Ashby at 419.467.1298 for more details or questions.
