Children's Sunday School

THE KINGDOM – 9:45 am to 10:45 am every Sunday.

The Kingdom is our rotation Sunday School Curriculum for children from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. The Kingdom focuses on teaching children as they learn through drama, art, computers, science, cooking, and games. They learn to read the Bible, to interpret the Bible, and to LIVE the Bible in their lives right now. They travel each week to a new room with a shepherd to learn the story in a new way. These classes will begin on Rally Day each year..

JANUARY IN THE KINGDOM

In January, our virtue is GRACE: getting something great that you don't deserve. The Bible memory verse is from Ephesians 2:8-9. " God saved you by his grace when you believed...it is a gift from God."  Rooms will be marked by your color as you move to new rooms with your shepherd each week.

In SERVE AND LEARN, our mission focus this month is to collect board games and toilet paper for the Friendly Center.  Often families need to choose between needs and wants, and we are trying to give them a little of both.

KIDS R.O.C.

This new servant ministry is for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. They will meet once a month on Saturdays to serve in our church and community. In September, they made 30 dozen cookies for the Kairos ministry. On October 23, they met at the church for lunch, and then raked leaves for some of our senior members. They helped children shop at the Jingle Bell shop in December.  Check the bulletin board in the kingdom hallway for the latest project for this group.  T-shirts are coming soon!

Sixth graders have their own class called S.L.A.M.

(Serve, Learn, and Minister)

They meet at 9:45 in room 206.
