Children's Sunday School

THE KINGDOM – 9:45 am to 10:45 am every Sunday.

The Kingdom is our rotation Sunday School Curriculum for children from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. The Kingdom focuses on teaching children as they learn through drama, art, computers, science, cooking, and games. They learn to read the Bible, to interpret the Bible, and to LIVE the Bible in their lives right now. We begin in room 205, the OASIS, where we refresh and renew our spirit for the day through drama, music. scripture, and prayer. Then Tthey travel each week to a new room with a shepherd to learn the story in a new way.

IN THE KINGDOM...

In March we are exploring the life app of KNOWLEDGE:   Discovering something new so you can be better at whatever you do.  Our best source of knowledge is the Bible, and we will be studying the Beatitudes.  Our Memory verse is from Romans 2:20.  "For you are certain that God's law gives you complete knowledge and truth."
Our Learn to Serve project is to "Work for Water".  Students will be looking for creative ways to raise money for Water Filters for Haiti.

KIDS R.O.C.

“Kids Roc” is a service outreach ministry for students in grades 4, 5 and 6th. It will be an opportunity for students in these grade levels to meet once a month outside the Sunday School classroom to reach out into the community to serve and help others in a community service project. After the project, the group will meet to go out for hot chocolate, ice cream or lunch. Besides serving others, hopefully the children will bond and connect to develop lasting friendships at Epworth. Parents are welcome to attend. For more information, see Jane Lyon. ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

Sixth graders have their own class called S.L.A.M.

(Serve, Learn, and Minister)

They meet at 9:45 in room 206.
