Hurricane Rita Relief Work: July 12th - 19th 2008
Epworth is organizing another work team to Louisiana for continued storm relief work. This effort will be to the Lake Charles area devastated by hurricane Rita in Sept. 2005. Dates of this trip are July 12th-19th. All skill levels are needed and welcomed. July is right around the corner so check your schedule and come on down with us for the most rewarding Summer Vacation you will ever have. All levels of work will be available, but especially construction work. First-time volunteers and repeat volunteers are encouraged to be part of the team.
Ways that you can be a part of the team include:
- going on the trip
- financially sponsoring a team member through scholarship funds
- driving team members to Detroit Metro airport on the date of departure
- driving team members home from Detroit Metro at the time of their arrival

The missions work area at Epworth is responsible for outreach programs outside of Lucas County. We are currently supporting programs in:
