Sunday, May 11: Epworth Welcomes Bishop Nkulu Ntanda Ntambo
Bishop Ntambo is episcopal leader of the North Katanga Conference of the United Methodist Church in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This important guest will preach at all three worship services that morning.
Bishop Ntambo brings with him for this visit a delegation of 6 pastors and a spouse from the DRC.
The delegation has most recently been a part of the General Conference of the United Methodist Church that met in Fort Worth, Texas, the last two weeks of April.
In addition to the Sunday worship services there will be two other opportunities for Epworth’s people to meet with Bishop Ntambo and the delegation.
Saturday evening, May 10, there will be a cookout and Sunday afternoon, May 11, following worship there will be a luncheon at the church at 12:30. If you are interested in either opportunity, please call the church office by May 4.
Also, if you are able to help with transportation either May 10 (from Lima) or May 12 (to Bowling Green), please call the church office.
May 11th at all three services—Pentecost Celebration, Mother’s Day recognitions and Bishop Ntambo will be our guest preacher at all three services.
May 18th Youth Sunday at all three services.
May 25th Memorial Sunday observances at all three services

Greetings from Epworth United Methodist Church, where our doors are wide open to all people. We believe that Christianity is first and foremost about relationships rather than rules. It is about the most important relationship of all - our relationship with God. We hope you come and enjoy God’s loving presence during any of our three Sunday morning worship gatherings.
What visitors usually notice is that we are a large church with a large number of ministries that meet a wide range of needs. But if you look closer, you’ll find that in many ways we’re small. In fact, we’re actually a network of small groups. If you’d like to develop authentic and enduring relationships with others, then you’ll be glad to know that new groups are forming all the time.
Together, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible—a church with relevant sermons, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.
Come, bring a friend and experience Christian community as we worship God in both traditional and contemporary styles. You’ll find that Epworth is a place where you really matter—because you matter to God.
We look forward to meeting you this Sunday at Epworth.
