You may have heard some talk of Venturing starting back up here at Epworth. Now it is time to learn more. Join us on Sunday, March 11 after the 11 am service (around 12:15) for an informational meeting. Venturing is a program of the Boy Scouts of America designed for boys and girls 14-20 years old.
It does not take the place of our SWAT youth group and it can enhance the scouting experience as you may still be a Boy Scout or Girl Scout and in a venture crew at the same time. "Venturing is youth-led and youth-inspired." Our crew will choose their area of interest and how often they want to meet. Some crews focus on high-adventure like trips to Philmont or hiking the Appalachian trail. Other crews focus on science like STEM, robotics, etc. While other crews focus on service.
