Upheaval and uncertainty in the denomination have left many wounded, angry, afraid, and saddened. Our One Body, One Spirit service opens the doors to anyone who is hurting in the wake of the General Conference vote. Name your pain. Lay it down. Seek Jesus in prayer. Extend hands to your family of faith. This service is open to everyone – invite friends from the community in need of space to breathe and to find peace.
One Body, One Spirit will provide opportunity for stillness and personal prayer; reflection; praying together as the family of God in Christ; and release the burdens of grief, pain, and worry that prevent us from living the lives that God called us to live. Our hope is that creating a space for peace will allow healing to begin.
