Start sorting through your stuff! Epworth will have a "clean out challenge" on Saturday, October 14 from 12-3pm. Various organizations will be on our property to accept and recycle your donations such as the Salvation Army, Epworth Furniture Ministry, Allshred (paper shredding), Ottawa Hills Police to accept old Rx pills, Recycle I.T. USA (a technology recycling firm), and we will have an extra dumpster available for general trash.  

More space in your homes is a tangible way to make more space in your life for peace, hope, faith and of course, God’s love.

Guidelines for what types of items that can be accepted:

Epworth Furniture Ministry – gently used furniture, mattresses, kitchen appliances, silverware, dishes, pots & pans

Salvation Army – goods & clothing

Ottawa Hills Police – old/out of date prescription drugs

Allshred Services – paper document destruction

Recycle I.T. USA - electronic items such as computer towers, laptop computers, cellphones, printers, copiers, fax machines, flat screen monitors, keyboards, mice.  
Sorry NO TV’s with CRT picture tubes

Republic Services – general waste similar to your routine home trash pickup. 
Sorry NO paint, solvents, motor oil, fluorescent tubes, tires, batteries or hazardous waste
