Cedar Point: October 2007

CedarPoint

Venture Crew went to Cedar Point on Oct. 27, 2007. It was a nice day with only little drizzles throughout the day. As the day went on it got colder and you could have to go back to get warmer clothes on. We got there and set up our camp sites. Then we got our tickets and many of the kids went right to the park.

Many of us rode the new coaster Maverick! The coaster had a long line but it was worth the wait for coaster lovers. Since it was Cedar Point’s Halloweekends we also got to go though many haunted houses. Some of us went on many high rides, and others went on only the smaller rides. Another fun ride is the Demon drop. If you like drop rides and you don’t want a long wait then this would be a good ride.

Any one that does not like coasters but loves haunted houses it is still worth it to go. They have Werewolf Canyon. This is a long haunted house that has smoke and trees were the werewolves can hide. You could also walk through the Fright Zone. This is an area to go to if you don’t want to wait in a line to get scared. The other walk through haunted house is CarnEvil. This area has many clowns and other carnival characters.  Another haunted walk through was MedEvil. In it there were bright lights smoke and lots of scary creatures. Some people were dressed as dragons, others as cows.

We also spent the night at the camp site and ate many meals there. For Dinner Dave made Chile Mac and hot dogs. When we woke up in the morning we were ready to eat. We had donuts, pudgy pies, and other kinds of grilled sandwiches. In the pudgy pies were either apple or blueberry filling. When we were all done eating and packing we all went home.
