Venture Crew Officers

Wish upon a bear
Bring in a new bear or donations to buy a bear and give them to Diane W-S. These bears or donations are due November 10th. Our next meeting isn’t until after that date but if you would like to donate a bear or some money call Diane W-S. Her phone number is 419-841-6481.
Here are some things we might do in the future:
November 18th (Sunday afternoon)- bowling at Imperial Lanes, Austin W. should be getting us more information by the next meeting
December 9th- This will be a Christmas party at Perrysburg Boat Club. It is in Perrysburg (duh!) from about 2-4pm. You should bring a snack (a finger food to pass around) and a white elephant gift.
January 25th,26th, and the 27th- We will be a ski weekend at Mad River Ski Resort. It is in Bellefountaine. It will cost approximately $65 for each person this includes, $25 for gas/food, $40 for skiing, which adds up to about $65. We will be there Friday night, all day Saturday, and we will come home on Sunday about 6pm at the church. On Friday night we ask that you would eat before you come.
February 9th, and10th- Camp Alaska
March- We might go to the D Bar Ranch where you can do archery, rivalry, and ride horses. Or take a look online at Summerfeild Michigan’s venture crew and see if you would like to join with them in doing the activity they are doing in march. ( you can see what they are doing in april too.)
April- We might go to Hell. Well Hell, MI that is. Where we can do mountain biking, and many other activities.
May- Rod Run this would be the Sunday after mother’s day
June- We are probably going hiking at Oak Openings. Sounds like loads of fun!
July 6th-August 2nd- We would like to go on the Appalatian trail. And we could probably go check out Washington D.C. while we are at it.
Fundraising
We are thinking of ideas to help us make the cost less on some of the trips we go on. So we can go on more! We have already thought of some to start with.
We could do a worship and wash. This is when people go into church we wash their cars!
This would be a springtime activity of course!
We could do yard work or just helping in general. For example, we could shovel some driveways or rake leaves.
Another idea that we brought up was maybe having a bake sale. We would have to have some help with another group to help donate cookies but we could try to do that.
Homework!
Look up Appalatian Trail, Bears Den, DC Tour, and think of some more service projects.
