ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our Current study:
Wrestling with Angels
Recently Pastor Ken preached a sermon, aptly titled “Wrestling with God” based on the Biblical story of Jacob’s night of wrestling with God. Surely this is a universal experience – at some point we all find ourselves in a struggle with God, don’t we? Starting April 27th, we invite you to join us in an intimate look at the tough questions of life as we view “Wrestling with Angels,” a 6 part video series with intimate and personal stories that form launching points for 6 well know authors/communicators to respond with their own insights into what God has for us when we face these tough issues and situations. The class is facilitated by a member volunteer. We welcome you to join us at any time! Questions? Click here to contact us.
OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
While we often initiate outreach opportunities within our group, there are numerous ways we can serve and help support through opportunites presented to us by the many ministires and programs of Epworth. Here we highlght two of those opportunities for your prayerful consideration:
HELP WANTED!
9 am - Noon on May 17th there will be an outdoor clean-up day at Epworth. Refreshments will be provided. Volunteers should bring their own tools, if possible. Come on out and help! This work can be fun when we do it together!
DONATIONS REQUESTED FOR SUITABLY ATTIRED

Thanks for the donations to the care package for Frank. Here's an update we received from Gina. Fank sent me an email letting me know that he received the last care package that Friends in Faith sent. He is currently on board a British Navy ship and he said that the goodies were enjoyed by all, especially since the British sailors don't receive care packages from home like that (per Frank). He should be back in Connecticut by mid June and I have plans to spend 5 days with him. Can't wait for that!! You all have been so great to us during this time. In some ways, it is hard to believe that the end is here. And sometimes, it seems like the end will never come!!!
